    New Era College (NEC) has partnered with City & Guilds U.K. to offer the Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) Programme.

    Engineers have a great demand world over. The programme at NEC is designed to reflect international standards and is structured to have the opportunity to receive remarkable success as a career option.

    With an Advanced Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering the graduate will:

    Technician Certificate (Duration 1 year)

    Technician Diploma (Duration 1 year)

    Technician Advanced Diploma (Duration 1 year)

    • Advanced Electrical Principles
    • Engineering Project

    Electrical Power Pathway

    Full Technological Diploma

    NEC, under the supervision of City & Guilds U.K. will award the Full Technological Diploma (FTD) in Engineering to someone who is at least 21, has at least two years of relevant industrial experience, and has successfully finished the assessments for the Advanced Diploma. They must also send a portfolio of evidence (P.O.E.) to support their application.

    Accreditation

    Under the Faculty of Engineering, the NEC programme on Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) is regulated by Human Resource Development Council Botswana and City & Guilds United Kingdom. City & Guilds programmes are accredited by UK bodies such as the Qualification Curriculum Authority.

    Graduates holding Advanced Diplomas in Electrical and Electronic Engineering have the option to enter universities in Botswana and the UK at final year for a top up degree programme.
