New Era College Hosts A STEM Training At Tashatha Community Junior Secondary School

New Era College recently hosted a STEM training workshop for over 100 teachers and students at Tashatha Community Junior Secondary School in Francistown.
The workshop focused on the basics of STEM skills such as electronics, programming, and robotics, with the aim of equipping staff and students with these skills and enabling them to utilize the STEM kits that have been donated by DTC Botswana. The keynote speaker at the event was Dr. Douglas Letholathebe, the Minister of Education and Skills Development and Member of Parliament for Tati East.
The training workshop was part of New Era College's Corporate Social Responsibility mandate which aims to give back to the community by supporting educational programs and initiatives that promote the development of the next generation of leaders.

The college offers a range of STEM programs for learners at tertiary level, including Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics, Bachelor of Science in Geology as well others that prepare learners for successful careers in STEM.
