New Era College proudly marked 15 years of transformative education in Botswana by hosting a Stakeholder Brunch on November 29, 2025. From its humble beginnings in 2009 with just 30 students, the institution has grown into a trailblazer in Engineering and Vocational Education, making a lasting impact in the industry and beyond.
Key milestones include the first graduation in 2015, the establishment of the STEM Research Center, and initiatives like the Annual Women in Engineering Round Table Talk, which promotes diversity in STEM fields. The College also demonstrated resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic, adopting virtual learning and contributing to national recovery efforts.
Looking ahead, New Era College plans to integrate TVET with higher education to equip graduates with future-ready skills, aligning with Botswana's economic diversification goals. With a solid foundation, the College is poised to continue shaping the future of education in Botswana, and releasing Globally Empowered Graduates.
