Partnership With INTI International University

New Era College of Arts Science and Technology is proud to announce it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the INTI International University, a tertiary Institution in Malaysia.

The historic MOU speaks towards the College’s strategic vision of becoming a globally renowned University with reputable international partners. Through this partnership, the College has access to an avenue of promoting research as well as pursuing academic and training excellence.

One of the exciting areas of partnership and cooperation set to be explored in the near future is that of student and faculty mobility programs. These programs are initiatives where members from both institutions trade places for a set period of time to be able to learn various insights from each other such as cultural practices, different educational methodologies as well as an overall experience of how campus life is experienced in different parts of the world. The aim of the program will be to give the participants an enriching experience as well as insights and knowledge for areas they could replicate in their own areas, while making them globally ready for the professional world.

Moreover, both institutions will endeavor to provide support to each other in areas such as research, teaching and learning, training, guest lecturing, academic funding, joint organizing and operation of seminars, workshops and conferences as well as co-curricular exchanges such as cultural and sporting activities.

The five year partnership will position New Era College as a center for academic excellence through the positive impact of having international partners such as INTI International University to leverage from. New Era College has embarked on academic, research and corporate social investment initiatives that are in-line with the government Botswana’s national transformation agenda to transform the country into a knowledge based economy.

New Era College would like to take this opportunity to thank INTI International University for this partnership and is hopeful that this is the beginning of many more fruitful partnerships and collaborations across the academic sphere.
