Please follow the guides when using the laboratories
  • Emergency Preparedness: Familiarize yourself with all emergency procedures, exits, and safety equipment, and know whom to contact in an emergency.
  • Chemical Safety: Treat all chemicals as hazardous, label containers clearly, avoid contact with skin, and clean spills immediately.
  • Proper Attire: Always wear closed-toe shoes, tie back long hair, avoid loose clothing or jewelry, and wear a lab coat or work suit.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Use safety glasses, gloves, and additional PPE as required by the materials or equipment you’re handling.
  • Electrical Safety: Seek permission before using high-voltage equipment, and never alter it. Only use one hand to make adjustments to reduce shock risk.
